House of Mercy Children's Rescue Center

On the outskirts of Nairobi sits the House of Mercy Rescue Center. The House of Mercy is a safe haven for children who have been orphaned or removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. The children are fully supported and cared for until they can be reunited with a family member or a loving foster home can be found.  The Center also serves the community by providing food and medical support to the surrounding families.

Hope for Jimmy is now Jimmy's Legacy Latest Update: Jimmy Carter Ndire passed from this life into the next early this morning August 5, 2018.  We thank God that Jimmy is now healed and in the presence of His Lord and Savior.  This is the hope that we have as followers of Christ:  "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die"- John 11:25 We are hoping to raise $7000 and will use all funds donated to this cause to pay for the outstanding hospital bill, funeral arrangements and begin a scholarship fund as a legacy in Jimmy's honor.  Thank you for partnering with us to help his mother and family to carry this heavy load.      Previous Update: Jimmy is the only child of Rose, the founder and Director of House of Mercy Children's Home.   He is in the ICU at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya suffering from Kidney failure.  Jimmy is in a coma and needs surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.  The surgery requires a deposit of $2500, which is nearly a year's salary for his single mother.   Jimmy has been in the ICU for over a week, and the hospital bill is nearly $3000 before the cost of the surgery.  Rose's family and friends have contributed sacrificially, however, she  still needs a lot of help covering the expenses that have accrued. Rose has been faithfully taking in street children for nearly 20 years.  She has poured herself into caring for the nearly 80 children at House of Mercy Children'e Home.  Now, her only child needs help.   Would you please consider blessing this family by helping carrying this burden for them?     Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2
